Vietnam drivers form barricade around motorcyclists to protect them from Typhoon Yagi winds

Super Typhoon Yagi, the most powerful storm to hit Asia this year, has left a path of destruction across southern China, Philippines and Vietnam. 
The storm wreaked havoc in northern Vietnam on September 7, triggering landslides and floods that have left over 65 people dead, and over 750 injured.
As the affected cities cope with the aftermath of the calamity, a heartwarming video has surfaced, proving that humanity can still be found even in the most difficult of times. 
The clip, taken in Vietnam, shows drivers flanking the sides of motorcyclists, forming a barricade between them and the typhoon’s strong winds while they travelled along a highway. 
The cars were seen reducing their speed to keep up with the slower pace of motorcyclists, who struggled to move ahead amidst the storm. 
At its fiercest, Typhoon Yagi was reported to reach speeds of 245km per hour in Hainan. It later hit island districts of north Vietnam with winds up to 160 km per hour.
Without the help of drivers, motorcyclists traversing across highways would have been pushed over and swept away by the strong winds. 
The compassion shown by drivers in Vietnam has touched the hearts of many, with netizens saluting them for their actions. 
Some wondered if the same kindness would be shown by drivers in their own countries, while others were left emotional watching this touching act of solidarity.
